Drew JamesDrew James is president of SRCTec, Inc. SRCTec, an ISO 9001- and ISO 14001-registered company, provides manufacturing, logistics and full lifecycle support for complex electronics systems. Together, SRCTec and SRC, Inc., its parent research and development organization, are redefining possible® by delivering unique, next-generation solutions of national significance in defense, environment and intelligence.

Mr. James has over 25 years of experience in the development, production and support of complex tactical systems and sensors for the U.S. Department of Defense. As president, he is responsible for directing all of SRCTec's activities, including developing and implementing strategic plans and business initiatives, as well as collaborating with SRC on projects to help both organizations continue to grow.

He previously served as vice president, operations where he was responsible for the management of the company's programs including the Lightweight Counter Mortar Radar (LCMR) program, the Counter Remote Controlled Improvised Explosive Device Electronic Warfare, or CREW Duke Program and the SR Hawk™ ground surveillance radar, as well as leading the manufacturing, integrated logistics support and quality assurance organizations. Both the LCMR and CREW Duke programs have received customer recognition for outstanding technical and programmatic accomplishments.

Prior to joining SRCTec, Mr. James held a variety of increasingly responsible positions during his 20 years with Lockheed Martin Corporation and its predecessor companies. These positions included systems engineer, system architectures manager, engineering program manager, program manager and program director. His last assignments at Lockheed Martin included managing the development of the Advanced Hawkeye radar and leading the Surface Ship Anti-Submarine Warfare Business Area.

Mr. James began his career at the General Electric Company on the Edison Engineering training program. This prestigious, intensive program consisted of rotating engineering work assignments and graduate level studies.

Mr. James holds a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from State University of New York Maritime College, Bronx, N.Y.; a master's degree in electrical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, N.Y.; and a master of business administration degree from Chapman University, Orange, Calif. He completed the Executive Program Manager Course through the Defense Systems Management College, and is also a licensed Project Management Professional. He currently serves on the United Way of Central New York's Board of Directors.
