SYRACUSE, NY, April 28, 2006 – Syracuse Research Corporation (SRC) is pleased to announce the promotion of Paul Tremont to Executive Vice President, Operations. As Executive Vice President, Mr. Tremont is responsible for leading strategic planning, customer and corporate alliances, and day-to-day management of SRC’s four business areas. He will also help to advance technological innovation for SRC, while providing technical and professional leadership to fulfill SRC’s mission of being a nationally recognized provider of innovative, objective solutions for the government and selected markets we serve.
Previous to this position, Mr. Tremont was Vice President, responsible for directing the Information Technology Center. In this role, he expanded the intelligence community business and managed teams of experts across several geographic locations. Mr. Tremont has a B.S. in Forestry from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry, and a M.B.A. in Management Science from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
