Syracuse, NY, November 10 – Miguel Maldonado (photo) of SRC, formerly Syracuse Research Corporation, has been named one of BizEventz’s 2009 “40 Under 40,” having made many significant contributions in the workplace and the community. This distinction recognizes 40 individuals less than 40 years of age in Central New York whose dedication and spirit has far surpassed that “expected” for people at this stage of life.

Maldonado, SRC’s quality manager, has been a driving force behind the superior quality associated with SRC’s products and services. His leadership has lead SRC to achieve ISO 9001:2008 registration, a rigorous quality standard achieved through demonstrated consistency in performance. Maldonado’s dedication to achieving ISO registration, and to the success of other quality control programs, will ultimately result in SRC’s ability to bring additional business and jobs into the Central New York community. His knowledge and leadership has affected process improvements at SRC and in the community as well. Maldonado spends much of his free time as a volunteer in his children’s schools and on their athletic fields. He is also an avid supporter of the United Way’s initiatives.

This year’s “40 Under 40” recognition luncheon will take place on Nov. 12 at the Nicholas J. Pirro Convention Center, Syracuse, N.Y. Proceeds from the event will be donated to the Leadership Greater Syracuse, a community leadership training organization.
