Syracuse, N.Y., July 8 – SRCTec’s Philip Fazio, vice president, finance and chief financial officer, was recently named Financial Executive of the Year by BizEvents in the category of private companies with revenue of more than $50 million. The Financial Executive of the Year awards honor financial professionals in Central New York for their leadership and outstanding performance in their roles as corporate financial stewards.

Fazio has been with SRCTec since its inception in 2006 and has been instrumental in developing and executing an annual operating plan, capital budget and quarterly forecast process consistent with the company’s strategic goals. He is responsible for planning and administering all of SRCTec’s financial management activities including investment management, business and tax planning, risk management and financial analysis of budgets, forecasts and results. He is also responsible for all procurement, contracts and information technology activities.
