Corporation is Awarded an $11 Million Subcontract by Lockheed Martin
Corporation

Syracuse Research Corporation has been awarded a five-year, $11 million
subcontract by Lockheed Martin Corporation supporting an Air Force
Program Office in Washington, D.C.
Under the contract, SRC
will expand its support of the Air Force’s communication engineering
efforts. SRC will provide engineering support to communication
architecture planning and implementation. The support includes
engineering systems analysis, requirements database development and
support analysis, operational planning systems tools, customer outreach
support, and software development.
“This contract is the
direct result of our in-depth and demonstrated high-quality services and
products SRC provided to the DoD and Intelligence Community over the
past 6 years," said Mary Tyszko, SRC Vice President Operations. "We are
delighted to have the opportunity to support Lockheed Martin in
delivering crucial engineering support to our mutual customer. Winning
this contract strengthens SRC's position as a national leader in the
field of communications systems analysis and information systems
development. It will have a strong, positive impact on our Northern
Virginia operations."
SRC currently has over
45 jobs posted for all its locations and is expected to hire up to 100
people this fiscal year to support contract growth. SRC’s career

Corporation Wins $3M Air Force Contract

Syracuse Research Corporation has been
awarded a 3.5-year, $3 million contract supporting the Fusion for
Effects-Based Operations program at the Air Force Research Laboratory’s
Information Directorate in Rome, New York.
Under the FEBO contract, SRC will
continue to support AFRL’s efforts in researching new concepts, tactics
and tools to support effects-based operations. This EBO tool set assists
military commanders in generating operation plans, such as those
employed in the recent Iraqi Freedom
campaign. Under FEBO, the SRC team will supply feedback to effects-based
plans by integrating information from multiple sensors. FEBO also
provides military commanders a means to evaluate the progress of
operational plans.
