Policy and Legal Review

SRC provides expert advice to combatant commanders developing plans for review and approval by the SecDef or the President by:

• Ensuring that plans are adequate and feasible based on the commander’s intent, IO and SIO capabilities, and the combat environment
   

• Preparing plans that are acceptable based on US, international, and foreign domestic law, defense strategy, and applicable policies
   

• Assisting DoD decision makers in developing review and approval policies that support the conduct of military operations
